Honour vs. Necessity
A Trial Honour Will Not Name
The moon rises red. She offers a thousand pistoles to the lackeys. Lord de Winter swaps the guard. The executioner finishes a sentence honour will not name in daylight. The four ride away. The book will not give them a cheer.
Key Insight
Necessity can be real and still leave a stain. If your honour requires a river at midnight, keep the stain in the story. Do not launder it into a proverb.
