The Paradox

There is no lighter burden than an empty pocket.

Poverty hurts. It is still, for most people who survive it, a suffering in the replaceable column — compared to grief, a death sentence, or the loss of sight and hearing. The trap is when shame convinces you everything else is empty too. Faith is what you use in the gap: not faith in getting rich, but faith in what money was never holding.
